bestforuprompter (the "Service") takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect, how we use and store it, and what rights you have.
1. Information we collect
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we collect minimal account information such as your email address. We temporarily process context text you enter or upload (resume, cover letter, etc.) and speech-recognition text produced when your microphone, the other side’s audio, or your webcam is turned on, solely to provide the Service. We do not yet collect payment information (billing is not implemented).
2. How we use it
Collected information is used only to (1) auto-scroll your script, (2) generate AI answers from your context, (3) keep you signed in and provide plan-specific features, and (4) improve the Service. Your resume and voice data are never used to train AI models.
3. Storage and processing
Speech-recognition results from your mic and the other side’s audio, and webcam gaze-tracking values, are processed within your browser session and are not stored permanently on our servers. Your resume/context text is kept to provide the Service until you delete it yourself or delete your account.
4. Third parties and processors
Minimal data required is shared in real time with Google/Apple (sign-in), Deepgram (speech recognition), and Google Gemini (AI answer generation) to power those features. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for any other purpose.
5. Cookies
We use only the minimal cookies needed to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in — no advertising tracking cookies.
6. Your rights
You can edit or delete your saved context text at any time, and you may request account deletion or access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Please contact us using the details below.
